Imagine a little girl in 1997 - all limbs, mock turtlenecks, and straight across bangs. It was that fateful year when my mom pulled out her trusty 1970s Singer and taught me how to sew by making clothes for my dolls. 

Two decades later, I'm using the same things my mom taught me - technical skill, patience, and kindness - to help everyone love the way they look in clothes. Of course, fashion school and a costume shop technical internship didn't hurt!

What should you know about me? I'm a work-from-home mom with a serious podcast addiction who has never met an Earl Grey tea she didn't love (particularly with a twist of lemon!).
